Testimony : This past thursday Night me and some of my Friends went to eat at Atlanta Bread Company. while we were there .. we met this young ladie that ended up having an Encounter with the Lord that Night. I'll let you read her own words. This was written in an Online Blog on myspace by Her! " ...Today I was at work. adam bass was there and had a group of people at a few tables put together. they got up to leave and started moving the tables back and I went over and told them that they didnt have to do that. well, adam looks at me and says I need to tell you something. I said ok and he said I can tell you have a lot of knowledge. I said thank you. he said God has huge plans for you. you're going to do something big for him. I thought this was super ironic because I have been struggling with my faith SO much lately. I said thank you and went on about my job. Well, the rest of the night I couldnt stop thinking about what he said. It was about 8:30 and I noticed he was still sitting outside. I knew I HAD to talk to him. I went out and asked him if he would still be there around 9:30 because that was when I would be getting off and that I would really like to talk to him. I went out at 9:35 and didnt leave until 11. I think its so amazing how God works through people to reach others. I was raised in church. baptised when I was 7 and the kid in kindergarten at recess that would have prayer time at the swingset. I used to live for the Lord. all day, everyday. I fell away. I partied. I lied. I decieved. I even denied knowing the Lord. Tonight, today, was a new start. I feel so amazing. This is my new beginning. A friend of mine, Landon Smith, said "I'm Landon. Forget everything you knew about me. God is amazing, Everything is new." So, I'm saying, I'm Sarah. Forget everything you knew about me. God is Amazing. Everything is new. I've gone for SO long feeling empty. I've gone for so long faking everything and not living like I KNOW I'm supposed to. I am so happy. I've never felt such a peace. I'm living right. I'm living for God.

Testimony : I HAD MADE A COMMITMENT TO THE LORD NOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PRICE OF GAS. AFTER GOING ON A TRIP TO EUROPE AND SEEING GAS AT NEARLY 12 DOLLARS A GALLON I WAS EVEN MORE CONVINCED THAT WE LIVE IN A GREAT COUNTRY. I FURTHER DECIDED TO REALLY BE A PRAISER AND NOT A COMPLAINER. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO ALBANY, GA. FOR OVER A YEAR NOW EACH MONTH TO SPEAK TO THE WOMEN THAT MEET AT THE RIVER IN ALBANY. AS I GO THERE TO SPEAK, I ALWAYS HAVE TO STOP AND GET GAS GOING THERE OR COMING HOME. I HAD FILLED UP MY CAR WITH GAS ON FRIDAY BEFORE THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY THAT I WENT ON LAST WEEK. WHEN I LEFT WEBB I LOOKED DOWN AT MY GAS GUAGE AND DECIDED I HAD ENOUGH GAS TO GET TO ALBANY BUT PROBABLY NOT ENOUGH TO GET BACK OR IT WOULD BE CLOSE. I HAD SLIGHTLY OVER 3/4 TANK. I DROVE TO ALBANY, HAD MY MEETING, WENT OUT TO LUNCH WITH THE WOMEN, AND THEN LISA WILLIAMS AND MYSELF STARTED HOME. WE WERE SHARING AND I FORGOT TO CHECK MY GAS GUAGE ANOTHER TIME AND I DID NOT STOP AND GET GAS. ON THE WAY HOME I FOUND OUT A FRIEND HAD TO HAVE SURGERY THE NEXT MORNING AT THE MEDICAL CENTER AND WHEN I TALKED TO HER I TOLD HER I WOULD COME UP TO THE HOSPTIAL ON WED. MORNING ABOUT THE TIME SHE WAS TO GO IN FOR SURGERY. I GOT UP ON WED. MORNING, A LITTLE LATE I HAVE TO ADMIT, AND HIT THE GROUND RUNNING. AS I WENT TO GET IN MY CAR I REMEMBERED I HAD NOT GOTTEN GAS AND THOUGHT "OH NO, I HAVE GOT TO STOP AND GET GAS - I'LL BE REALLY LATE". I CRANKED MY CAR AND LOOKED DOWN AND I HAD SLIGHTLY OVER A HALF TANK OF GAS. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. I JUST SHOUTED. NOT ONLY DID I NOT HAVE TO STOP BUT GOD HAD CAUSED MY GAS IN MY CAR TO GO FURTHER THAN IT HAD EVER BEEN. ALSO, WHEN I WAS IN ALBANY A SWEET SISTER CAME UP TO ME AND SAID THE LORD TOLD ME TO GIVE YOU 20 DOLLARS FOR GAS. I TOLD HER THIS WAS NOT NECESSARY BUT SHE INSISTED THAT SHE HAD HEARD FROM GOD AND SHE WANTED TO OBEY SO I RECEIVED THE MONEY WITH THANKSGIVING AND BLESSED HER. THE LESSON I HAVE LEARNED FROM THE LORD THIS WEEK IS THAT A THANKFUL HEART CAUSES HEAVEN TO OPEN. I WOULD LIKE TO ENCOURAGE US ALL TO HAVE ONLY GOOD, THANKFUL WORDS OUT OF OUR MOUTH AND NO COMPLAINING AND MURMURING. BE ENCOURAGED. MARILYN ADAMS

Testimony : I went to Living Waters in NC for the women's retreat. I rode with Jay Jay Parker, Jennifer Adams & Sandra Milner. I told them I have to take Celexa for my nerves (I'm a worry wart/always worried somebody is mad at me). It has helped alot. When I first starting taking it, I was not involved in church like I am now. They asked me if I trusted God. I thought I did, but that made me realize I must not completely trust Him if I have to take Celexa and that it was a mindset for me. So, that night, March 27th, I took myself off Celexa. Of course, during the retreat, every class I went to was about "Trusting God". God always confirms. The whole trip was a major breakthrough for me. Every since then I have been TRUSTING GOD and it is totally amazing. Before when I was taking my Celexa, if I did not take my pill, by the third day, I would have side effects. My side effects are headaches and majorly lightheaded. I always felt dizzy. I have not taken Celexa since Mar 27th and as of today, Apr 16th I have not had any side effects. Every once and I will get a little lightheaded, but it goes away as fast as it comes. God is awesome!! I have had a couple things happen that would normally stress me out beyond belief, but I just tell God that I Trust Him and it works out. I'm giving God the glory! Thank you Father!

Testimony : Last night my ex husband called and has been really depressed and needed prayer and ministering to.He felt like he had gone so far that God couldn't forgive him for some of the things he's done. He's been having nightmares of real things he's done and they've taken him back to the times that he's done these horrible things. So I went over there to minister to him and lay hands on him and pray. Also to let him know that the things of the past has been forgiven(he's been saved and repented for these things). Not only God has forgiven him but everyone else has too. He just can't forgive himself. The presence of God was so strong, I know he felt it. Praying for him gave me such peace. I know it'll take time but God is calling him and he feels it so strong, and i know he'll be back soon. Today, my mother has had alot of problems with restless legs day and night. They were bothering her so bad and the Spirit steped in and told me to pray over her and lay hands on her and as soon as I started praying her legs went still and she's had no pain or problems since. When i asked her if she still had pain, she told me no and the problem had been fixed for good. PRAISE THE LORD. For not only what He's done in me but also what He's done through me and allowing me to shine and be a light for all to see."A CITY ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN" my family has been so blessed and i can't wait to see what He'll do next. Thanks be to God in the name of the almighty JESUS.

Testimony : As many people know at New Freedom I have been standing on a promise God made me concerning my sons. I believe that during one session of soaking God promised me that He would put all the statistic's to shame and would move on my behalf and bring my son's to bow before Him and serve Him. It has begun. My oldest son, Jimmy, who is autistic, attends church with the house manager each Sunday morning. He says he loves it. In fact, he refuses to attend church anywhere else, and that is new for Jimmy. He has always praised God everywhere he goes, but always disliked church. He has made new strides in overcoming the diagnosis of autism and mental retardation. Brett, my middle child, has begun to sit and watch ministries teach. He watched Myles Monroe teaching on the Kingdom and asked questions and then started watching other ministries with me. He dislikes church, but has begun to experience a softened heart from God and is getting the teaching on the kingdom, which he deems logical. My youngest son who told me he would never darken a church doorstep again, began going a month ago to attend Harvest Church every Sunday morning as he works every Sunday evening. He has begun to struggle because God is dealing with his heart. I am sitting in awe of how God is working and all I have to do is pray, believe and stay out of the way. I do minister to them and answer questions when asked, but the day I stopped asking them to come to church with me, was the day God began to move. Now, this may not be the same for everyone, but that was the decree that came to me from the Holy Spirit, and that was stay out of my way and I will draw them. This is Valentine's Day and also my birthday and God promised me a very special gift. As a mom, there is no greater gift, but since it is only 5:33 a.m., I can only stand and see the hand of my God move today. Praise be unto God who always causes His Word to return completing all it is sent to do. Thank you Father!!!!

Testimony : A few weeks back, I went to a church in Montgomery, AL and had the chance to pray with several people for healing after the service. One girl (probably about 16 yrs old) came forward and said that she had a lump on her breast that was bigger than a golf ball...so we just prayed then i told her to go to the bathroom to check if there was any difference. She came back and said that the lump was 15% smaller. We prayed a second time and she checked it in the bathroom again....it was 80% gone!!! We prayed again and it was 95% gone!!! now she said it was the size of a pea!!! Thank You Jesus for touching this girl!

Testimony : TODAY I VISITED A LOCAL RESTAURANT AND WHILE I WAS THERE GOD OPENED UP SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES TO MINISTER AND ADVANCE THE KINGDOM. I MET A MAN I HAVE KNOWN CASUALLY FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND GOD GAVE WORDS OF PROPHECY THERE AND WHAT A JOY TO WATCH THE WORD WORK AND BRING COMFORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT. I AM SO GLAD TO BE A PART OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND WATCH HIM DO SO MANY GOOD THINGS FOR HIS PEOPLE. HE NEVER GIVES UP ON US AND CONTINUES TO WORK IN EACH OF US BRINGING US TO HIS LIKENESS. WHAT A MIGHTY GOD!!!!

Testimony : Today, January 1, 2008, I had a very bad headache. I have been having them lately, but today was the worst. I have been out of my blood pressure medicine and did not have the money for the medicine nor could I afford the medical insurance, so I was totally out. I worked my usual schedule, and through God's grace had the best line count to date, I am a medical transcriptionist who works from home. I sent an email to Neil Moody who prayed for me, which helped me to make it through my work day. When I shut down my computer, I heard a soft voice say look in your white purse. I went to my closet, picked up the purse that I know I had completely cleaned out and opened it up. In the bottom was a single blood pressure pill. I took it with some excedrin for the pain and am now pain free. God provided so wonderfully. My doctor's office should be open tomorrow and I will get some samples from him them, but I saw the had of God open for me today and I am so completely blessed and loved by my Father in Heaven. Praise God.

Testimony : On Sunday, December 16 in the AM service, we prayed over all the business owners in the church. There were several business owners who had been slow. Brad Rice, a member at our church had only sold 7 cars since November. As of Wed. December 19th, he has sold 3 cars. Mark Burton, a member at the church, stated his business had been slow. When he went to work on Mon. December 17th, he had received a new large job. Also, he was able to bid on 4 other jobs. God is so faithful.

Testimony : During a visit with my late brother-in-law...who was taken to be with the lord two weeks ago...I enterd the room and found him to be comatose.I began praying for him and as soon as I told him to wake up he began to roll over and moan.He had said nothing all day...This was around 8:00 PM.For the first time that day his family was able to give him water because he was so thirsty.It was the last time he responded at all.He passed away the next afternoon...When I prayed for him that night I felt a sense of peace come over the room along with his Children and wife.You could see the smiles on their faces and the amazement by some.God is so awesome.He shows his presence in so many different ways!I praise the Lord each day for the little things,The big things...Everything! I LOVE YOU LORD!!!

Testimony : On the day before my Brother in law went to be with the Lord we were visiting him in ICU...He was just laying there.He hadn't moved all day.I reached to him and lay hands on him and began to pray for peace and and healing in his body.I told Larry that we wanted him to wake up and look at us.When I said that he rolled over for the first time that day.He began to moan...Telling us he was there nd knew we were there.His wife said that meant he was thirsty.His family was able to be with him and serve him by giving him water one last time.The smile on his family's face let me know the Lord is and was so powerful in that room that night.I am at peace in knowing my brother in law iwas saved and is with Jesus now! Shane is probably teaching him a move or two.Thank you Lord for coming and sharing that night.We were truly blessed that night by your presence.

Testimony : Sunday AM Service At New Freedom Church several things were called out for healing. I heard someone say right jaw. I had been having alot of pain in right jaw with ulcer due to braces sobad I could hardly talk or smile. I felt and felt no pain. It is gone. Praise God!

Testimony : Beginning in 2002, my son Alan Wright (Dothan) found that he had a brain tumor and within several days ended up in New York for emergency brain surgery. Surgery was successful with the tumor being benign. After this surgery, he was used my many referred to him with brain tumors to share his faith and encourage them in their perspective procedures needed. In the years to come, he began to question God as to why he was the only one with a benign tumor when all the others he had encountered resulted in having brain cancer. Then in 2006 he had a grand mall seizure which resulted in finding another tumor. This required another surgery in New York, and was this time described as malignant. After another surgery, he then went through Radiation and Chemo Treatments. Since he is a Young, Christian, Dothan man, extensive prayers by many Christians, have and still are being offered up in his behalf and your church has been one of the one that have him on your prayer list. Through out all this he has remained faithful to his faith in God and has never waivered. In November of 2006 he had another scare by being told that something was there again. A prayer vigil was offered up again and I believe that the situation proved to be ok. He has been having continuous MRIs to keep a check on his status. Then in November of this year (2007), another area was discovered and was immediately decided that yet, another trip to New York and another surgery was scheduled. Prayers were immediately requested by everyone that all of us knew. Upon arriving, in New York and going to see the Surgeon, God had truly intervened in the situation. This particular area was a very risky area for surgery and upon seeing Alan, the doctor was immediatlely shocked that due to where this was located, that he had no neurological problems or symptoms. He told us, that up until 10 minutes prior that his full intention was to perform the surgery. Since there was no evidence to insure that it was indeed a tumor, and no symptoms whatsoever, that he did not feel that the surgery was the answer. He sent him for more MRIs and test, connected him with a Neuro Oncologist, who made some decisions regarding his current chemo treatment, and then scheduled him for another trip to New York for further follow up and MRIs the end of January. Alan, his family and I were so relieved hearing this Wonderful news. His surgery was scheduled of his birthday, November 29th, and due to the cancellation, we were able to share a very special and Happy Birthday with him in New York before returning home. I am totally convinced that God has TRULY INTERVENED in Alan's life and is increasing his faith. Throughout all these situations, he and each of us know that his healing and his life are in God's hands TOTALLY, regardless of what others may see or think that is there. Alan was given a word, before leaving for New York last month, that a person in prayer for him had had a vision, seeing a vision of brain and there were several small blisters sitting on the brain. Instantly, they POPPED and the area they were sitting on, immediately smoothed over and were slick as glass. I fully believe that God took care of this situation and is More than Able to Totally Heal his brain. I have written all this to share with each of you, the grace and mercy of God in just one young man's life. I sincerely thank each of you at New Freedom for your prayers in the past for my Son and to express my continued desire for all of you to continue to always keep him there. In times such as these, I have found that the person affected usually lacks the ability to pray for themselves, and intercessory prayer is truly needed from each of us to undergird them. During the service for Represent '07, I was ushering and saw that some young people were playing more than listening. Even though it was not my section, I made sure that my section was okay and then went to try to get them to listen to what was being said. As soon as I would walk away believing they were calming down, the Holy Spirit said to stick with them. I went and sat back down and basically stayed on them to stay quiet and listen. Well, when it came time to practice praying for people's healing, one of the young men helped pray for someone whose ankle had been broken four times. The guy had been limping when he came in, but was jumping before the Lord after prayer. The young man I was "hanging with by God's command" began to say "no way" over and over again. Then he prayed for his girlfriend's knee which kept collapsing when she stood up, and she proclaimed healing while standing up and squatting several times, and he began his no ways again. He asked if I thought God would heal his broken finger, and I told him to lay hands on his finger, I would agree with him and just ask God himself. We prayed for it and it was healed, no pain and no stiffness. He grabbed me and said thank you for making me listen. He walked away in awe of God. I truly believe he went to his school and practiced what he witnessed and saw.

Testimony : Recently I had been asked to pray for a teenage guy who was going thru a great deal of turmoil. I did not know this young man and I had been praying for him for about a week. On my way to Albany, Ga. to minister to a ladies group I passed a young man riding a bicycle and was drawn by the Holy Spirit to pray for him which I did. The next day thru a counseling appointment I asked a young lady who knew this young man if they had heard from him and she said yes, they had gone to a Ga. town last night and picked him up. I asked her if he was riding a bicycle and she said yes. I knew it was the young man I had prayed for and this is the young man I had been praying for all week. What great love the father has for this young man. I am so glad God will let me be a part of what he is doing. Marilyn Adams

Testimony : While in Redding, CA a few weeks ago, I met a BSSM student who has had consistent pain in his left knee for an extended period of time (I believe it was a couple years). He was very open to prayer for healing and had to test it out over a couple hours and days. He came up to me two days later and said that he has had no pain since then and that he would have definately had problems by that time. Jesus healed him completely! Praise God!

Testimony : While in Sacramento, CA a few weeks ago, I was at my grandparents Retirement Community and I had the oppurtunity to pray for my grandparents' neighbor. She was having constant back pain because she had fallen a couple days before. After she receiving prayer, I asked her to test out her back to see if there was anymore problems. She began to test out her back, and to her amazement, she found out that her pain had instantly and completely gone! Jesus completely healed her! Praise You Lord.

Testimony : In Redding, CA a few weeks ago, after the Sunday night service at Bethel Church, I was walking thru the sanctuary when I felt a cramp in my left hampstring. I felt like it might be a word of knowlege from the Holy Spirit to show that somebody around there needed healing in that area. So I asked a man that was close by if he ever had any problems in his left hampstring and he said that he regularly had cramping! He was from Sweden (i think or something like that) but he knew english pretty well. He said it was a problem with the circulation in his leg. So he let me pray for him, and after saying a quick prayer, he said he felt tingling and heat in his left hamstring. I told him that this was very likely a sign that the Holy Spirit was touching his leg. So we waited a second to let the Lord continue what he was doing and then prayed a second time. Right after the second prayer, the heat and tingling stopped. He said he had to test it out over a short period of time to know for sure if he was healed, but we believe that Jesus healed him that day. Thank You Father!
